King’s Rock Farm

Raising Nubian, Saanen & Experimental Dairy Goats
Since 2003

POWERFUL, CAPACIOUS, &

PRODUCTIVE.

King’s Rock Farm was established in 2003 with the birth of one little goat. That baby, AKM-Farm Alexandra Isabella 1*M (LA: 8-03 90 VEEE), and later her maternal half-sister AKM-Farm Cotton Candy (LA: 9-03 89 VVEE) were the foundation of our small herd of American Nubian Goats. Since 2003, King’s Rock has been diligently working to breed animals that are great representatives of the Nubian breed.  Our goal is to have hard-working, productive dairy animals that can excel not only in the show ring but also on the milk stand. In 2017, we added GCH Paradiso Moonshyne 2*M, starting our foray into the Experimental herdbook, allowing us to own a “Snubian” or two. In 2023, after several years of struggling to increase the “Snubian” herd, we bit the bullet and added our first Saanen doe, Araby-Farm Magnolia Blossom, into our herd.

We are an ADGA Plus herd, participating in Linear Appraisal since 2011 and DHIR since 2016. We show both at the regional and national level, going to the ADGA National Show whenever we can.  Since 2003, we have bred or managed 14 Permanent Champions, 4 Superior Genetics Animals, 2 Top 10 Does, and 10 Excellent appraising animals. In 2021, we were recognized as one of the inaugural ADGA Herd of Distinction herds.
All of our herd sires, as well as the majority of our doe herd, have been DNA typed with records on file with ADGA.
