King’s Rock Farm
Raising Nubian, Saanen & Experimental Dairy Goats
Since 2003
POWERFUL, CAPACIOUS, &
PRODUCTIVE.
King’s Rock Farm was established in 2003 with the birth of one little goat. That doe, AKM-Farm Alexandra Isabella 1*M (LA: 8-03 90 VEEE), and later her maternal half-sister AKM-Farm Cotton Candy (LA: 9-03 89 VVEE) were the foundation of our herd, creating the groundwork for our herd of American Nubians. From the beginning, we have been diligently breeding animals that exemplify the best qualities of a dairy goat: strength, productivity, and style. Our breeding program focuses on developing hard-working, efficient dairy goats that excel both on the milk stand and in the show ring.
In 2017, we added GCH Paradiso Moonshyne 2*M, starting our foray into the Experimental herdbook, allowing us to own a “Snubian” or two. In 2023, after several years of struggling to increase the “Snubian” herd, we bit the bullet and added our first Saanen doe, Araby-Farm Magnolia Blossom, into our herd.
We are an ADGA Plus herd, participating in Linear Appraisal since 2011 and DHIR since 2016. We show both at the regional and national level, going to the ADGA National Show whenever we can. Since our start, we have bred or managed 18 Permanent Champions, 4 Superior Genetics Animals, 2 Top 10 Does, and 10 Excellent appraising animals. In 2021, we were recognized as one of the inaugural ADGA Herd of Distinction herds.
All herd sires and the majority of our doe herd are DNA typed, with records on file with ADGA, reflecting our commitment to transparency, data-driven breeding, and long-term herd improvement.
