We have been in love with Piper since day one. She is a large bodied, dairy doe that catches your attention from the moment you set eyes on her. She stands on great feet and legs and is very sharp and angular throughout. Her udder is very well attached with a beautiful foreudder.
Her first show was the 2011 ADGA Nationals where she was 1st place junior kid. She earned her dry leg as a dry yearling at the District 2 Nubian Speciality Show and was BJDIS X2 that year with limited showing. She freshened beautifully and is a workhorse when it comes to milk production. At a one day milk test in August, as a first freshener, she milked 8.4 pounds. She is consistently in the top of her class and was 2X RGCH in 2013 behind her older herdmate Carmel.
In 2014, at her first show of the season, Piper was the bridesmaid once again to her herd mate Madison and went Reserve Grand Champion in one ring. At the ADGA Nationals, she placed 22nd in a huge class of 3 year olds.
Unfortunately, we lost Piper in 2015 shortly after kidding. She left a huge hole in our herd and our hearts and will be missed.
